I just noticed, that I have posted a lot of the rough sketches, where I designed the characters for Wings of War, beside Errors and Inks!

Are we ever going to find out why Error was born with black wings?

I don't really have a detailed explanation to why. I always saw it as just a gene defect or something like this. Like for example in the Momma CQ au it's pixlexia that's causing Error to look different.

He wasn't born with the intention to be evil or was cursed in some way, like other angels speculated. If he wasn't thrown out, he would have just been a normal angel. Probably not living the best life, seeing as he would have had a low rank, but he would have never turned into a demon on his own.

Apologies if you’ve already been asked or I just need to follow up on the story more. But in the photos from your ‘devils don’t fly’ video, it shows that in some of the pictures Error has wings with feathers. How did he become a devil? Was he thrown into hell or some other place?

So far of what I have shown of his backstory, Error was only thrown out of the angel castle and lost his status as an angel. He is not a demon yet but instead he is now stuck in the mortal realm. Feeling alone and confused what to do.

To be able to transform he needs to behave like a demon and ignore all the rules and morals he had learned when he was an angel.

When he now does something "bad" his body slowly transforms until he is a full demon.

His transformation as well as another important event, are what my next video is about so I don't want to spoil too much!~

To why Error was thrown out in the first place, I can remember answering an ask a while ago where I explained it in more detail :3

How did error become demon instead of ink and I want a drawing of me with them as well if you don't mind.

This question is a little more complicated to explain since I haven't shown how and when Error really transformed yet.

But why Ink didn't "turn into a demon" or rather why he wasn't thrown out? Simply because he didn't do anything that was against the angel rules. He is also Angel Gasters favorite angel as well as a high ranked one and so he is protected a lot more by a!gaster and even if Ink would do something he probably wouldn't have to face the same consequences as any other angel would.

In my video where Error was thrown out the both of them were around the age of teenagers.

Error however, was always like the exact opposite of Ink. He also had a low rank and on top of that he was the one that was born with black wings. Black feathers are a sign of an angel that did something bad because then a feather turns black.

So Error always seemed out of place with the others and a lot of the angels where scared of him and they tried to "correct" him through the ways they normally use on angels found with black feathers. But nothing ever changed.

But a!gaster had no right to throw him out just because of his feathers...

That was until an incident happened that changed rules and gave a!gaster the right to throw him out.

Ink wasn't affected by these rule changes and was allowed to stay.

How do the transformations work?

It's like once an angel gets offically thrown out, like how it happened to Error, they lose their status as an angel and now instead of getting black feathers with every bad doing, the angel slowly transforms (growing horns, tail, wing change, etc.) until they are a full demon.

But angels don't get thrown out so easily. So an angel to demon transformation is not really common. They rather try to work with the angel, that was found having black feathers and convince them to change their ways. Depending on how severe it is, the ways of how they try to treat them varies.

Error is going to mostly follow this route.. even though he is a confused bean a lot of the time and was more forced to follow this than him actually wanting to change.
