Angel Tower
Always thought it was really cool that the tower that erupts from Eva Unit-00 when it is attacked by the 16th Angel resembles all the previous angels.
The Notre Dame Cathedral in Strasbourg, whose foundations date back to 1015, is the centerpiece of the city. The cathedral is perfect for tourists and religious visitors alike. Between the large, ornate organ on the left wall and the similarly intricate Astronomical clock in the back of the cathedral, the sights to be seen within are breathtaking.

The interior of the cathedral includes many spectacles that are both unique to the church and worthwhile to view while visiting Strasbourg. The main organ can be seen just upon entering on the left wall and it is one of the most magnificent organs I have yet to see–and I’ve seen a few. When you get there be sure to pick up an info sheet telling about a certain loud monkey who participated in the church until it was promptly removed due to its annoying nature.
At 11:30am every day the clock is shown to paying visitors (only 2 Euro). While it is a short spectacle, it is definitely worth seeing. The moving pieces of the clock are explained in German, French, and English, and can be seen in all their splendor.
Some of the other pieces in the Cathedral include tapestries, the Angel Tower near the Astronomical Clock, the rose window, and an incredibly ornate pulpit. Below you’ll find a small gallery with picture of each of these additional pieces of the church.
