I see Gabriel’s Angelic form as something like this. Maybe more purple. (Cube because of how he thinks and also John Hamm’s jawline.)

And Beelzebub, when they were an Angel, I see them as a wave of gold dust-- the particles became a swarm of flies when they fell.

Here’s one of those pieces I was hinting at before with the Redbubble post; I got inspired and drew angelic versions of the iconic tetrominos from Tetris.

(Actually an important note while I’m thinking of it; it felt weird to officially call them angelic when I’m selling them, so I put them down as “Abstract forms” on redbubble. I’ll be adding “abstract” to the angelic forms posts on this blog, and adding “angelic” to the posts on Redbubble in case anyone goes looking for them. It’s just that last time I used the term angelic for any site other than this blog I got a bunch of esoteric types checking it out and I don’t want to mislead anyone into thinking these are some form of sigil or have any power.)

question is it uncommon for angels to not have a human form? i'm angelkin but really only remember being either a being of shifting light and color or more akin to some of the more frightening depictions of angels with a shifting forms with multiple wings and eyes. We're part of a multiple system and we even have another angelkin in the system but he remembers having a human form. Idk I just feel left out when others talk about their appearance being humanlike.

Yes!! I didn’t have a human form for a very long time, until humans were being introduced more and more. Of course, there are some angels that are physical, while others aren’t (like, how you said, light)

we c an be. whe n in our tr ue form we are usuall y between seven and ten feet ta ll. the c eilings in josie’s house aren’t reall y that high. sometimes w hen talking to humans it’s easie r to be closer to th eir level. but, given the ro om, we prefer to be ta lle r.
