The things I do to impress my pastors toddler.
These were the only images I could finish for my last mini challenge. I'm actually refocusing my art, and I'll be talking more about it in the monthly update tomorrow. Art changes aside, working with washi tape was really interesting. I may try it again later.
These last ten came out a lot better! I don't have a favorite for this set but someone says the pink and green one making the :o face looks like me when I get excited, sooo...
Marker March this year has a theme but I'm not sure how to word it yet. Exploring an old, personal concept with some rough sketches
It’s the new year soon and I’m aware that this gem study may be the last piece I finish during it.
This is a notebook with chocolate brown pages (and appropriately enough a golden cover that says “CHOCOLATE” on it like a candy bar). I got it at Half Price Books and finally started doing something in it.
I found three colored pencils and a gel pen to draw in it, and I may go into more detail once I do a full page spread. So there’s something to potentially look forward to.
I got this idea for a painting and finally acted on it a few days ago. I really like how it turned out but I still have a lot to learn about watercolor...
Here’s the next five! The paper is starting to get warped by the water and the heat gun, but we’re still trucking!
