Angelkin Problems?
I know that it's common to have back pains because of our wings and all... But does anyone else have pains in their shoulder blades? Because I always get them shortly after back pain...
4,6,7 and 9 for the kin ask meme? Also if you believe in reincarnation/multiple lives, do you think if/when you go to the next life/back home, you'll remember what happened during this lifetime?
AWWW thank you so much for asking me! :DD *HUGS* I am always delighted whenever someone sends in an ask!!! <3 Thank you!
4. Recommend some media (Music, Art, Literature…) that remind you of your kin!
I don’t know about movies or literature…The only things that come to mind with that are the Maximum Ride Manga (volumes 1 to 6 in particular, since they align with the first four novels of the series which are the only ones I accept as canon really) because they have beautiful shots of wings, flying people in the sky, and the like that I can stare at for hours. The Wings of Fire series by Tui T. Sutherland is great for dragonkin people. The Warrior Cats series by Erin Hunter is great for catkin people. For actual angelkin? I’ve yet to find literature that really resonates on that level… I’ve found a lot of horribly done books though.
Music I have a lot more of!
Angelkin, wingedkin - “Take to the Sky” by Owl City. “Learning to Fly” by Tom Petty. “Icarus” by Bastille. “Flying Without Wings” and “I Have a Dream” by Westlife.
Dragonkin - “I See Fire” by Ed Sheeran. “Miss Independent” by Ne-Yo. “Honey I’m Home” by Shania Twain.
Catkin - “I Don’t Speak Human” by Omnia.
General ‘Kin songs - “Open Up Your Eyes” by Jeremy Camp. “Can’t Take Me [I’m Free]” by Bryon Adams. “Once Upon A December” by Deana Carter. “Journey to the Past” and “At the Beginning” from the Anastasia movie. “Leave Out All the Rest” by Linkin Park.
6. What are your favorite kin blogs?
@angel–finder @newbieangel
(they post things related entirely to their kin from what I’ve seen. it’s just angelkin listed because I have not found as good a community among the dragonkin and catkin as I did among the angelkin.)
7. Do you miss anyone from your past life (or alternatively: Do you wish you did things differently)?
Honestly, I wish I didn’t incarnate here but since I’m here I might as well deal with it. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ I basically miss all my family and friends from my home world, but it helps to be able to talk with some of them here (via mental telepathy and channeling) even if they’re just spirits while I’m in a physical human body at present.
9. Any hobbies or habits that kinda relate to your kintype(s)?
Skydiving was my hobby related to my angelkin and wingedkin side while I could do it. :D I cannot anymore due to health reasons but I thoroughly enjoyed the three times I did. :)
Other things would be: cuddling in a comfy, soft, nest-like bed, getting massages (my cat self loves petting, my dragon self loves pampering, and my angel self just wants to be in bliss and have the aches go away), taking long shower-baths (since I love being in the water and cleaning/grooming myself), humming randomly since angels always sang back at home, listening to music, drawing my true forms, writing my memories of home into a book for others to read and enjoy.
Behavior quirks I have from my ‘kin side: Growling or hissing, baring teeth in a threat, purring when blissed, walking on my toes, maneuvering around objects like I have actual wings to compensate for, collecting pretty stones (my hoard :D).
Bonus Question: Also if you believe in reincarnation/multiple lives, do you think if/when you go to the next life/back home, you’ll remember what happened during this lifetime?
I thoroughly believe in multiple lifetimes. I know I’m incarnated in this one and I’ll go back home after this physical body dies.
I even learned that it’ll be like waking up at home, opening my eyes after an extremely long and vivid nightmare, and then being in my normal body again. I’ll remember what happens here for sure, but I think the emotional impact of it will dull over time and since I live a very long time back at home, I have time to spare. :) I’ve recovered from other traumatizing events in my overall life before, so I can recover from this one too. :)
I am still getting a goddamn vacation though! D: I demand it! As compensation for the ordeal I had to endure here. TTT_TT Mah!

Btw thanks again for asking me! :D <3 I loved responding to this! <3
I hate when I tell people I used to have black wings and people assume I was like Lucifer or something like chill I was just a defective angel lmao
Im constantly torn between missing heaven and remembering how much other angels hated me/being glad I'm a human on earth now
TKFW you KNOW you should know why some angels have multiple wings and some don't, same with eyes and heads, but you know the limit to how many wings you have in your home world is two pairs, and one pair of eyes, and you don't recall any angel having multiple heads in your home world.
I feel we all came from different worlds, and perhaps even the choirs were mistaken as just different groups that came from different places and worked together well enough to all be labeled "angels" even if they were in truth different species.
Right now I feel like it's on the tip of my brain, on the tip of my tongue and awareness, of why this is so, and what is really going on here.
It's been a while since I've been so frustrated in trying to figure something out when I feel clearly it's something I should KNOW easily and readily at hand.
I do know when I figure it out, it'll be quite the relief for me.
