I hated Fan Fiction. I tend to have a mixed relationship with Meta episodes. But for me, I started to watch this show for the horror elements. I LOVED the dark tones of season 1 and 2, I loved having actual creepy monsters on this show. I loved the backwards America feel and characters that felt like REAL people that you could cross paths with any day. I miss when ANGELS and DEMONS were forced to be feared.  

I hate that episodes like Fan Fiction and characters like Charlie have become the norm with the show trying to pander to a younger crowd. And I know people enjoyed it and Charlie gets a lot of love, but I just don’t think they fit in this universe. At least not the one I felt in love with.  And while I wouldn’t have minded if they were a rare episode thing like the Ghostfacers were, but it really has become a parody of itself. We spend more time with annoying teenagers and pathetic monsters/villains than we do with the Winchesters and actual scary mythology.

yES they are the friends who make fun of each other and willa rgue but then someone else tries to join in on that and they turn and are like 'wtf don't say that about kai/cas that's fucking rude'
