He’s been here long enough to know what Halloween is and to know what dressing up is as well. He’s never truly participated in any of the Halloween events. He decided to change that this year by getting some candies that he purchased from a store along with a costume. He should’ve known something like this would happen. During the valentine’s day situation, didn’t chocolate have this strange effect? He had been a victim of it! 

At least this isn’t as harmful. He just happened to have transformed into a knight. He always did want to become a knight when he was much younger and full of dreams. 

He can tell this is going to be an interesting knight.

at his age, he's learned how to single out those he'd consider UNIQUE, divinely so, either positively or negatively. as it is, he's a devil in the flesh, the REINCARNATION of a demon king. he can feel it pull through him when gazing upon those who seem greater than what appearances suggest. a great gift, albeit one with a PRICE. surely! his own gnarled and wicked heart would be seen as well! when he looks at one who seems little more than a child, ganondorf remarks FLATLY, a joke, even if it doesn't seem like such at first. ❝have the goddesses sent you to SMITE me? i assure you, i've not done anything more severe than jaywalking for quite some time.❞

Rung almost doesn’t believe his optics; the wildlife in Spirale tend to be rather small, from his experience, and he’s never seen one of them go flying overhead in the middle of a residential area like this. Magnificent wings blot out the blue of the sky and Rung stares, enraptured, until he realizes that he was right-- this isn’t some sort of bird relocating from the forest, but rather a winged humanoid. A resident.

“Excuse me!” he calls, waving his hand above his head. Being a good deal taller than his surroundings, it seems likely that he’ll manage to get the stranger’s attention despite their distance and speed.

This stranger can fly, effortlessly, and if Rung didn’t at least try to enlist him in exploring the Pit or the Sun, he knows Hornet would be terribly disappointed in him. He’d be disappointed in himself-- he won’t ask this child(?) to put himself in danger, but the stranger is the first flier Rung’s seen so far who seems unrestrained by Star-set limitations.

And that makes him the only flier who might have a chance of helping them all learn something new about their prison.

“Sorry-- hate to be a bother-- but would it be possible to speak to you for a moment? I was wondering whether you’ve done any aerial exploration recently?”

“... You live here too?” Qiqi had been informed by a nice man that this is the townhouse where she’d be living now, though she hadn’t known there’d be others living here, too... (At least she won’t be alone. She appreciates that much, even if Dr. Baizhu isn’t here.) 

She’s very interested in his wings though, and she eyes them curiously. “My name’s Qiqi... I’m a zombie,” she introduces herself, “Your wings are very pretty... Like a bird’s.”

He wasn’t really enthusiastic about holidays, specially if his brother wasn’t around to spend them with him. However, he decided to play along and join the community. Devil like horns, tail and wings seemed like an easy option, fast and easy to understand, there was also an eye patch and a scar on the other side just to add a little something. The boy didn’t think that they would become part of him. He wondered how much of a change would be, the thought wasn’t really exciting.

❝ Oh it’s you.❞ He said after finding a previous acquaintance. ❝ This is uh...hm.❞ Ritsu couldn’t finish the sentence after realizing he might be looking somehow silly in his current state.

One of the weirder things about this costume was the parrot that’d apparently come with it- perched on my shoulder, squawking the day away whenever it felt like it. And feel like it the bird sure did right now, upon seeing some person with... wings? Yeah, wings- weird. 

“Oi, your’re buggin’ my bird here. If you’ve gotta problem, just say it.”
