Wait, Billie wasn't dead? I want Cas back since day one but don't want they'll tell me now reapers can bring angels back, since when reapers have so much power?

Right now literally anyone can make a guest appearance since we don’t know who is or isn’t alive in the alternate universe. Also, since they are going a Scooby episode, I’m assuming they may be jumping between multiple alternate universes which gives them infinite possibilities to bring any character back in any capacity depending on the AU. I guess the writers just felt like writing some fanfiction!

I only watched the last parte but that new demon girl looks pretty much like Meg

Yeah, she’s got some Meg attitude in her too. I hope she’s going to be a great character!

I just watched the new episode too and ooooh my gosh it's wonderful! I just can't stop thinking about the bit at the end where Mary's talking to Mr Ketch and she says that one of her boys almost died. I almost died right about there. She has so adopted Cas in her heart (´▽`ʃƪ)♡

I know, it was an amazing episode! I found that Mary part interesting. She is a complex character. Yes, she told Mr. Ketch that “one of her boys” almost got killed, but there’s also that little bit about her almost getting her other two boys killed by not admitting to stealing the Colt. I’m afraid Mary is being set up for some heartbreak, and by that I mean that Sam and Dean are going to be the ones heartbroken when something goes wrong with Mary working for the BMoL. I’m worried. 

But on the plus side that episode just gave us so much! Cas said out loud that he loves Sam & Dean and that they have changed him for the better and that they are the best thing about his life. Think about that... he’s been around for millions of years and these two guys are the best thing he has encountered. My heart!!!

I agree. Castiel is the best thing to come out of Supernatural. His character also gets to change and do new things verse Sam and Dean being stuck in their patterns. I would watch the show over the summer after a season comes out, though verse stopping forever.

While I love Sam and Dean (and many other side characters) each for different reasons, to me, there is just something so special about Castiel when he is written well. To me, he is one of the most interesting and complex characters I have seen on TV. 

He is this eons old spanner in the works. He has rebelled over and over again against programming that is supposed to be unbreakable, and always for love of humanity (and specifically Dean Winchester). We have seen him in every capacity from hammer to friend, from god to homeless human. And with each of these, he grows. He learned so much from Dean about humanity and free will and, bless him, he tried to spread that message to his angel family, who he forever trying to save. When we first met Cas he was like a hammer, just a feelingless warrior of god - or so we thought. We have seen him grow to love bees, PB&J, coffee, and binge junk TV. Gosh! I just love him!

i get what you're saying but i also still feel like he basically said that its not possible, you know? like he shut out a lot of fans just saying that cause he felt he needed to defend dean's ~straightness~ he could've said, "thats not my story to tell" cause its not. instead, he flat out said it didnt exist. like people who ship it are in denial and should feel stupid. thats just how it /felt/ to me.

I agree that he doesn’t seem to get how connected and impassioned the fandom is about this ship. Honestly, I think most of us at this point have given up on canon Destiel, but it would be nice if he had the same respect for it that, say, Misha does. A simple response like, “there are a lot of ways to interpret the show and I never personally saw the Dr. Sexy thing as a crush but you certainly can,” would have gone a long way. Sadly, I don’t think J2 understand this part of the fandom well. For me, I have had to say who cares? I’m in this for the show, not for what two rich southern white boys think.

THAT was the Cas-centic backstory episode? That's it? Cas participated in a murder of an innocent human child? Like, that's it??????????? I've always known that writers don't give a fig about Cas but it's like they're flipping the bird us while laughing their ass off.

I rather enjoyed it. I mean, yeah, I would love more Cas back story and I can think of about a dozen awesome back story ideas off the top of my head, but I guess I’m just so happy about all of the reaffirmation that Cas is a Winchester and how much he means to Dean and how much he has grown that I can’t be disappointed. I hadn’t expected to get a Cas-centric episode this season so I guess I’m happy with the crumbs they throw me. I hope they get lots of positive feedback so they do this again.

Thank you for talking to me before. Is there anything that would stop you watching Supernatural, either week to week or forever?

I’ve committed a minimum of 250 hours of my life to this show (and that is just watching each episode 1 time, and doesn’t count rewatches, blog time, fanfiction reading, fanfiction writing, meta, conventions, etc) so I feel like I’m in in for the long haul at this point.

However, there is one thing that would make me stop - and that is Cas getting killed off. I love that angel so much, it would just break my heart to watch without him.

Hey so I just read the post you did about SPN cons and destiel. And yeah I agree and totally see your point. I love watching the show, I love fangirling about it on Tumblr/Twitter/Facebook after an episode. Seeing and reading all the things other people saw that I missed, I love it. What I also really love about our fandom are the fanfiction stories and fanart. And Destiel is amazing for those. So yeah, I believe in Destiel but I'm pretty sure it will never be in the show and I'm okay with that.

Acceptance and hope are the final stages of grief LOL
