DSP 2 Week Makeup Challenge Day 8 :)

Day 8:  How many new products to you usually purchase per month?  What is the most recent makeup purchase you’ve made?

Makeup products? Not too many, I purchase way too much nail polish each month, I am considering not buying anymore, I have so much I cant even use them all....

The most recent purchase!? My Revlon Colorstay foundation, I bought it a couple of months ago, I am in need of the lighter one, and new mascara soon :)

DSP 2 Week Makeup Challenge Day 5 :)

Day 5:  Do you prefer lipstick, lip gloss, or lip stain?  What are your three favorite shades?

Lip Stain stays on too long for me, I don't like that long terms wear...

Lip Gloss is WAY too sticky, wet, and.... ew. Nope no lip gloss

I will wear Lip Stick, I have a couple I wear a lot, my peach one is now in use a lot since it is sorta spring.

I mostly wear chapstick :p

DSP 2 Week Makeup Challenge Day 4 :)

Day 4:  How many individual items of makeup do you own?  (You don’t need to review all of these, but it’s fun to count!)

67 makeup items ranging from foundation, powder, eyeliner, eyeshadow, lip gloss, lip sticks, lip liners *which I never use...* primers for both face and eyes and not counting brushes or nail polish.

If I counted every nail polish I own... the count would probably be close to 200. I have a whole drawer full of nail polish and a growing pile on my desk since no more can fit in the drawer... and I keep buying more lol. Nail polish is my addiction, then makeup

DSP 2 Week Makeup Challenge Day 3 :)

Day 3:  Who is your biggest makeup inspiration, and why?

No one really! I use the internet and magazines to my full advantage and I use everyone as inspiration! I use the colors of eye shadow I have to the fullest and brainstorm around said colors and try to do things different.  I do watch a couple people on YouTube, and follow some people here on Tumblr, but nothing to the point of where I would say they 'inspire' me. Kind of boring, I know. :p

DSP 2 Week Makeup Challenge Day 1 :)

Day 1:  What is your favorite makeup brand, and what are your top 5 favorite products from that brand?

I would have to say Avon, not a usual choice for most people, but my Grandma sold it for 5 plus years and then had friends who sold it too us after she stopped and my mom has had friends sell it to us in the past as well. I haven't bought any products recently, but I have a lot of the product from the past year that is still good that I use a lot :) It was also very affordable during my slow shifts at work and I couldn't spend a lot on make up :) Its the most I have of one brand with the most positive reviews :D!

My top 5 products are:

Nail polish! I love their formula and its great colors!

Eyeliner, it stays on for a long time, comes in various kinds, colors, and types

Powder, I was a hardcore Avon powder fan up until our last seller quit, I now use Covergirl

Eye shadow, it isn't the best I would say, but I still like it a lot for some of the trays I have, the colors are nice and complement my skin and eyes nice with the rich colors * isn't very smooth for whoever is wondering why I would say it isn't the best*

Lip stick, I have a couple from my mom buying the wrong color and it goes well with my skin tone, very smooth and rich, I am just not a big lip stick wearer :)
