One of the biggest pushes for me to search music was finding this one song. It had ethereal vocals, almost a lullaby essence, New Age poetry, and just…a cloud in song form. I lost it, spent the next 19 years searching for it again with no luck. SoundHound couldn’t place the lyrics I could remember, or the melody.

Today I finally found the song. The moment I heard the first melody past the intro, I knew I found it. I had the entire melody memorized.

Angelzoom’s “Turn the Sky”.

I don’t recall ever being so moved by a song. It took me to a different world. When I decided to reclaim my Goth self and get back to listening to the music, feeling it move me, I’d almost given up looking for this song. Goth music will always bring me back to myself. <3 It brought me back to a song that may not be Goth, but is an essential part of my creative oneness.

Now I’m gonna cry for the next 5 hours…
