A Right Angle Gearbox is used to transmit Rotary Motion in 90 degree. This Series can be customized to get three directional outputs I.e. Single Output Shaft, Two Directional Output Shaft and Three Directional Output Shaft. This particular Gearbox comes with dual shaft end where the reduced output can be achieved in the Rotary Motion form. The Application can be directly coupled with the output shaft for further transmission of Motion.

SMD Hollow Rotary Reducer ( ST Series)  is the most precise & Accurate Gearbox available in the Rotary Segment. Right Angle Gearbox (SS Series) is coupled with Hollow Rotary Gearbox to get desired reduction. In some application the direction of the motor is not suitable for direct Input hence a Right Angle Gearbox is used to give Perpendicular Input to the Gearbox.

A Right Angle Gearbox is used to transmit Rotary Motion in 90 degrees. This Series Comes with a Planetary Reducer which has total reduction ratio ranging from 1:4 to 1:200 with a total torque transmission capacity range of 13Nm to 793Nm. The whole Gearset has a Accuracy of 3-6 Arc Min and the models available are SS42, SS70, SS90, SS120, SS150, SS180 which are combined with SNP gearbox customizable with Shaft or Flange End according to the application.

Rack and Pinion can be directly coupled with Right Angle Gearbox to convert Rotary Motion into Linear Motion. The Pinion is mounted on the Shaft of Right Angle Gearbox and the whole Gearbox is assembled in such a way that the Rotary motion of Pinion is Coupled with Rack hence the Linear Motion is achieved.

SMD has introduced new Rack and Pinion Series with Gearbox where Rack Module is 1.5 and its length is 100 mm. The Pinion is coupled to SMD Right Angle Gearbox SS42 hence through which input is provided. The Right Angle Reducer can have ratios between 1:1 and 1:100. The nominal output torque of this Gearbox is 13.7 Nm. This Gearbox is a light Weight which weighs only 1 kg. The Rack is coated with black oxide coating to prevent rusting. The Rack is Surface finished in 2 ways either Ground or Milled.
