During the events of Angler Cabin, Abeline, Claire, Chris, and Trent are working together as researchers and co-authors, but before that-

Claire was a funeral florist, Abeline was an art therapist, Chris worked at a comics/games store, and Trent is a permanent NEET.

How long has it been since Trent took a shower? Does he ever take showers?

Without Chris to haggle him, Trent would...not take care of himself. He bathes more now.

Yes, he's the only person who not only knows what Trent looks like but has also had direct contact with him. Trent's use of the nyctophobia necklace artifact is both for his own fear and because it's fun to utilize.

Claire likes punk, indie, and post-rock, Chris likes grunge and alt-hip hop, Abeline likes whatever people are putting into fandom character playlists, and Trent ambient, electronic, and hypergrunge
