I recently finished playing God of War: Ragnarok the other day, and man what an amazing game! So so good!
Stoats, and mustelids in general, make me think of him (+ her)
Atreus and Angroboda are 14 (maybe pushing 15). Thankfully people here on my Tumblr bubble are so nice and sweet, but everytime I see a cute edit of them (tik tok/insta) some comments are disgusting! People are literally sexualizing two teenagers that barely left childhood years. I absolutely hate how some people (specially men) can't see past the sexual aspects of ANY relationship.
Any disrespectful or hateful interaction will be blocked. I'm not gonna hear anyone's justification for sexualizing two 14 yr old kids
Whenever I feel like things are just TOO much, I put on my Lokean Playlist, which features songs that either make me think about Loki, and or Loki had used for divination. While doing that tonight I was driven to make edit(s). So have Loki and his wives.
Left to right -> Sigyn, Loki, Angroboda.
Here's individual pieces. You're welcome to use them if you like.
Credit would be appreciated but not expected.
Head very full
Fenrir is a giant wolf born from the union between the god Loki and the giantess Angrboða, together with the queen of the underworld Hel and the Miðgarðsormr. Fenrir is a very special wolf: just like his father, he has an out-of-the-ordinary intelligence and even manages to speak, thus making himself a strong opponent both physically and mentally. When the Gods learned that Fenrir was raised together with Hel and the Miðgarðsormr in Jötunheimr, the land of the giants, they decided to have them brought before them so that Odin would decide what to do with them: the prophecies said that such creatures would not come but misfortunes. While Hel was sent to reign in the underworld, and the Miðgarðsormr sunk to the bottom of the ocean, not knowing what to do with Fenrir, the Gods kept him with them. the wolf grew more and more, both in ferocity and in size, so much so that only the god Týr dared to feed him. The decision was then made to chain him, but the undertaking did not seem easy. The gods prepared a chain, and proposed to the wolf that he be bound to measure his strength in an attempt to break it. But Fenrir broke it easily, and the same happened with a second, stronger chain. Meanwhile Fenrir continued to grow. Then the Gods sent Skìrnir, servant of Freyr, to Svartálfaheimr, the kingdom of the dark elves, to ask certain dwarves to prepare a magical chain. The magic chain, called Gleipnir, was built with these elements: the sound of a cat's step, a woman's beard, mountain roots, bear tendons, fish breath, bird saliva. To the eye and to the touch it looked like a silk ribbon, but in reality no one could have broken it. The gods then went to an island named Lyngvi and summoned Fenrir there. But the wolf, upon seeing that fragile-looking chain, became suspicious, because he feared some spell or deception. After a discussion, it was agreed that Fenrir would be linked with Gleipnir, but the god Týr would have to place his hand in the beast's jaws as a guarantee. Týr, knowing that his hand would almost certainly be sacrificed, accepted. And indeed Fenrir, despite using all his tremendous strength, could not free himself from the magical chain, so much so that all the Gods burst out laughing, except Týr, whose hand Fenrir instantly cut off, as soon as he realized that he was been defeated. The end of the chain was then taken and fixed to the ground with two boulders. During this operation Fenrir tried several times to bite his captors, so much so that they put a sword between his two jaws, so that he could no longer close them. Since then Fenrir remains chained on the island, and so he must remain until the end of the world. Mad with rage, the great wolf howls and drools, so much so that a river, named Ván, has formed from its saliva. Fenrir will be freed from its chains during Ragnarök, the end of the world. The wolf, free again, will attack the Gods, together with the other forces of disorder and darkness and will be able to devour Odin, the father of all the Norse Gods.
