17 year old Melitta

Melitta curled up on the floor of her room, knees pulled up to her chest and back pressed against the wall. She was shaking, hands digging into her bruised arms with her head between her legs, trying to block everything out.

"What's this one called?"

"I don't know, but she's one of them Hargreeves kids. Bet that old man will pay a lot to get her back in good shape."

"Who says I can't enjoy her a bit before then?"

Melitta shook her head quickly, trying to block out the four year old flashback. Sighing, she leaned against her bed and bit her already short nails, a tell tale sign Melitta was anxious or upset. She needed to get out of this room, out of this house.

The walls felt like they were closing in on her, trapping her, trapping her back in that horrible place. In reality, she was safe in room, or as safe as anyone could be at the Umbrella Academy

In her head, she was stuck in an unfamiliar place waiting for long dead kidnappers to do whatever they wanted to her while they waited for the ransom for Reginald Hargreeves.
