Summary: James, the jock and bad boy of the school is failing his classes. Because of this, one of his teachers assigned him a tutor who just so happens to be Aleks, the nerd and new kid. James starts to develop feelings for Aleks. Will James muster up the courage to ask Aleks to be his? Warnings: Swearing, angst(maybe? I’m new to this stuff), fluff. It stood out from the swarm of gray, blue, and green vests which made it harder to look away from it. The damn jacket just reminded Aleks of what he did to James. James’ hurt expression. The anger in Aleks’ veins. He couldn’t take it. Aleks just wanted to get rid of the damn thing now. Just then, Aleks had an idea. He got up from his bed and started to frantically search for his phone. When he finally got it, he dialed Eddie’s number as fast as he could. "Hello?" Eddie finally picked up. "Hey, it’s Aleks. Could you tell me what James’ number is?" Aleks could hear the muffled giggle Eddie was trying so hard to hide. "Oooh. His number, huh?" "Fuck off, would ya?" Aleks rose his voice a bit. "Whoa, whoa, whoa, there feisty. I’ll give you his number." "Thank you." Only silence answered Aleks. "Okay, his number is…" *** Quickly dialing his number, but saving it as a contact first, Aleks called James. After a few rings, he finally picked up. "Hello, who is this?" "It’s… uhm… It’s Aleks." "Oh..! Why’d you call?… If it’s an apology you want, I’m really sorry. Heh…" James’ nervous laugh really made Aleks guilty. "Well, I got you something as an apology. Would you mind if you could come to my house right now? I’ll tell you where it is." "Sure! We live on the same street, don’t we? Just be outside and I’ll be able to find you." *** So there Aleks was; waiting outside by his porch with the jacket in hand. The eerie silence didn’t match the rather loud mixture of pink, yellow, purple, and blue in the sky. It’d be a perfect setting for a date. How sweet. Hopefully Aleks could sneak in a hug during the meeting. "Aleks!" James is here! "Hey!" "So you wanted to give me something? Is it a kiss?" James said with a grin. "Yeah, ri-!" In an attempt to walk to James, Aleks tripped on his own feet, which ended up in Aleks’ lips meeting James’. Aleks tried to pull away, but couldn’t due to James’ sudden grasp at his waist. After a minute, James let go with a huge smile. "That’s enough for a gift." "What the hell! Ugh… Anyway, here’s your gift." Right after shoving the jacket in James’ hands, Aleks turned around to walk away, but was once again stopped by James’ hold. "Are you sure you didn’t like that, ‘cause your cheeks say otherwise." Just then, Aleks could feel the immense heat in his cheeks. "The sunset’s nice. Why not stay and watch it with me?" "Wha-. N-no!" With a devilish smile, James just laughed and tightened his grip on Aleks’ hand and dragged him to the nearest bench. Once he finally reached one, James forced Aleks to sit before having a seat next to him. They sat in silence which wasn’t uncomfortable. It was surprisingly soothing. Everything was peaceful, it started to make Aleks drowsy. "Why don’t you start our tutoring classes again? Just ask Mrs.Meyers to start them again. That way, we’d be able to see each other often." "Why would I… want to… see your ass?" Aleks was getting really tired. "Getting sleepy, Sleeping Beauty?" A nod was his only answer. "Fine. Are you cold?" "Yeah…" "Alright, here." James wrapped Aleks in the jacket he got him. "I forgot to say thanks about it. It’s nice, thank you." "Mhm." Aleks was getting really comfortable. It was wrong. Like they were a couple. Oh well, he’ll just have to deal with it later.
