When James and Eddie finally got to the stadium, they were sweaty and gasping for air. Jordan, seeing how tired they were, decided to hand the pair two water bottles. "Dern dude… I’m guessing you guys were dashin’ through the hallways to get here?" ”..Yep…” "Well, sorry, but practice is cancelled, the coach’s wife is going through labor today. We won’t be havin’ practice for 2 weeks." Great. James will be able to have his tutoring classes without having to tell the team about- "Hey, Jordan, James is getting tutored by the new kid, Aleks!" Fuckin’ Eddie. "Really? Well I dern sure hope that’ll get your grades up, James. You’ve been getting one too many F’s. I’ll tell the coach about your classes." Wow… James was lucky. Jordan was being supportive and didn’t seem to judge him at all. It was great having Jordan as a friend-although you often had to remind yourself he wasn’t a soccer dad. "I’ll be going now.
