For the lineage challenge, who's your favourite Fraser and why? If you're allowed to say 😂
Thank you for the ask 🥰
So, the obvious answer would be Selene, but we're trying to make this fun, so gtfo out Sels. And no, Lizzie, I know you're Fraser by blood, but for once, this is not about you. Gtfo out as well.
I really love Selene's somewhat gruff but loving grandfather Angus, who maybe wasn't always the best father to his sons, but is a doting and devoted grandfather to her. It was due to his persistence that Selene's parents are obliged to send her to Fraser Hall several times a year, the one place she truly calls home.
So Angus would be the favourite, if - IF - it weren't for Mortimer. Selene's gay uncle is her real father figure, always there for her, and it was through him that Selene first found that little, tiny seed of doubt inside her mind that her parents' rigid stance on society and blood status maybe wasn't the real deal (Ethel took care of the rest of it @the-al-chemist). He always knows what cord to strike with her and how to cheer her up, and even after he was gone, his duelling room was kept in perfect condition by Selene and later her granddaughter Lexie - much to former pro-duellist Dana Parkin's joy when she and Dylan eventually moved into Fraser Hall.
But Mortimer wouldn't be Mortimer either if he hadn't had to share his spot as my favourite with the one, the only, the eternal bane of his life...
