Angus Barn Chocolate Chess Pie

Angus Barn is well known in the Raleigh-Durham area, and while they sure do have great steak, my favorite item on the menu is their chocolate chess pie. Two friends got me the recipe (it’s on their postcards!), so I was just biding my time to make an entire pie. Note to self, I must make a mini pie version some time soon.

I also made some fresh whipped cream to top with the pie, and it was delicious! Granted the pie doesn’t look quite as nice as it does in the restaurant and the taste was not quite there, but it was still very tasty. Second note to self: use a regular pie crush and not a deep dish one!
