I scanned my father's face. Had he become a Controller yet? Stupid. I didn't know. Couldn't know. It's not as if Controllers go around twitching or exchanging Yeerk high fives or playing with their ears. A Controller looks, acts, seems exactly normal.

I was about to give the Animorphs tv series credit for not white washing Marco and then I remembered that Ax's human morph was wHite.

If the Animorphs live action series was a well-made well-edited sufficiently-budgeted and faithful adaptation, the fandom would probably be a bit of a mess. Fans on the internet would be divided and ENDLESSLY arguing to this day about whether the original books or the show was the better version.

I like the universe we live in, where there is absolutely no doubt on which one is better.

Maybe Dracon beams look like flashlights because they're made from flashlights? Stealing and rebuilding other species' devices is canonically a Yeerk Thing after all. And re-using the casing has to be cheaper than smelting plastic from scratch or whatever.

Sometimes weird things happen to people. Ask H. He may tell you about the day he purchased a $3.00 game cartridge in a vintage game shop – and ended up on a mission to save his sanity from a bad 90’s children’s book tie-in.

That day H was given the task to take on the video game centered entirely on preteen animal transformation adventures that he refused to play even as a preteen furry who was fixated on animal transformation adventures.

And how, he must attempt to make any amount of progress in a game less impressive than anything he has played before…

TLDR: I’m playing Animorphs for Game Boy Color on stream for 2 hours (LOL), then the rest of thes tream I’m doing an Amazon Prime Video watch party of the old Nickelodeon-aired Animorphs TV adaptation, haven’t watched this series since Clinton was president, so it should be a bit of a doozy.
