Summer goals it is! (look at my little crab, I love him)

I haven't been very engaged with my studies lately, so it was hard to think of projects this time, but I like what I came up with.

I need to practice more in general, so we'll see if I can manage one of these. The being more active in my immersion basically means writing down new vocabulary and summarizing what I consumed, so I know I'm actually grasping concepts.

Only Lidia Poet is save from this, which might be why I'm most excited about that one haha.

What are your summer plans, guys? You got more free time or even less than usual for your studies? Either way, I hope you have fun!

Time for Winter goals! I'm already behind, technically, but I wanted to think about these for a bit (and to rest for a few days)

French: finish watching Lupin read La Horde du contrevent start activating my vocabulary

German: watch the Bibi & Tina series go back to Khan Academie study one (1) article for work

Japanese: rewrite my grammar notes go back to おじさまと猫 try out soumatome watch Totoro

I've realised I actually don't know why I want to learn Russian in the first place, so I'm just going to follow the podcast Russian with Stories for a bit, so I don't lose what little I know. And maybe watch a series that's been on my list for a while

It looks like I have fewer goals than usual, but I expect most of them to be time-consuming, so we'll see how much I can accomplish

What about you, guys? Any winter goals? or new year's goals? I hope you're having a wonderful end of the year and that only good things happen in the one to come!

I just finished my last book of the year, so I’ve come to share

Great year for reading in this household! I’m delighted :3

Last year I had 7 books in French, and this time I got 10, and several were long! I’m very pleased, a couple of years ago I struggled so much just reading one

While I couldn’t even read one chapter of a specific German book, I did notice improvement, and I surpassed last year by several. Gotta keep going! (Oh! And there was also the audio Adventskalender! I’m ecstatic)

The Japanese ones were mostly manga, but they still count

And I did keep my promise of reading more in Spanish!

The big surprise of the year, tho, was the fact that I can still read in Italian! It was such a wonderful feeling

(Ignore the Romanian one, the app saw “Roman” and stuck it there even though the book was in French. I laughed so much XD

I hope y’all had a good reading year as well if that was your goal. And hopefully it will keep next year :3

So. Summer goals. Let’s see how it goes!

French: - I’d love to get to play all of Dordogne. - Finish reading the De sang, d'écume et de glace trilogy. I’m so behind! - I want to write a little something daily. Maybe I’ll share, maybe I won’t

German: - Focus on the Biology course of Khan Academy - Keep reading Tante Theas Tiger.

Japanese: - Go back to reading Ojisama to Neko. Maybe finish a whole volume. - Finish listening to Kagami no Kojou (hopefully the schedule will match haha) - Check the JSL course that was shared on the Minimmersion Discord

Russian: - Learn accusative and genitive - Learn how to use adjectives - Watch another two stories

There’s another thing I’d like to do with songs, but I haven’t been able to define exactly what I want to do. But it’s vocabulary related so it should be fun.

I may come back to edit this a bit later. How about you guys? What are you focusing on during summer? I hope you have more free time to do what you want to do.

Start practicing my grammar, maybe do a word-by-word analysis

Translate a couple of news articles

Finish the book from bookclub and do reading exercises twice a week

Russian

Just keep watching vocabulary videos
