#winter goals

Time for Winter goals! I'm already behind, technically, but I wanted to think about these for a bit (and to rest for a few days)

French: finish watching Lupin read La Horde du contrevent start activating my vocabulary

German: watch the Bibi & Tina series go back to Khan Academie study one (1) article for work

Japanese: rewrite my grammar notes go back to おじさまと猫 try out soumatome watch Totoro

I've realised I actually don't know why I want to learn Russian in the first place, so I'm just going to follow the podcast Russian with Stories for a bit, so I don't lose what little I know. And maybe watch a series that's been on my list for a while

It looks like I have fewer goals than usual, but I expect most of them to be time-consuming, so we'll see how much I can accomplish

What about you, guys? Any winter goals? or new year's goals? I hope you're having a wonderful end of the year and that only good things happen in the one to come!

Winter List

Things I plan to do during the month of December, January, and February and leading up until its spring.  This list is probably going to be shorter then ones in the past, but I’ve lately found that I’ve been having a hard time getting myself to do things (if that makes sense) 

drink more tea, have a variety, drink it when reading or studying 

Go outside and take walks, bring my dog, listen to music etc

go out on the town, visit shops, window shop, visit coffee shops

maybe try snowshoeing

christmas shop!

celebrate yule

bake more often

focus on school and apply for schools

I just want to spend winter curled up in a burrow somewhere, slowly being buried by blankets of softly falling snow, listening to wind as it gusts through pine boughs. but instead i need to get a JOB or something

Concept: it's December and it's getting dark outside, snow just started falling again and I'm wrapped in my blanket wearing thick fuzzy christmas-pattern socks. I'm sipping tea from the most beautiful red mickey mouse mug, watching Frozen. The scent of vanilla and cinnamon fills up the room and makes me excited to eat the cookies I just put in the oven. There's nowhere I have to be and nothing I have to do. There's only Now - with its dimmed lights, silent snow and warm feelings. 🎄☄
