Its been two years since the rebellion, one year since Effie had moved to Twelve. The nightmares still haunted her, she found herself having panic attacks and sometimes staring off at nothing. After the rebellion Effie had returned to the Capitol but she had found that those who had claimed to be her friends wanted nothing to do with the former escort not after she had been claimed a traitor and charged with treason. There had only been a friend that had kept in touch with Effie. Cressida was Effie's friends for some years. While the two women were very different they had found a comfortable friendship.

Cressida was a rebel, she had always been a rebel, actually she had helped Effie to open her eyes to what was really going on in the districts, she had showed Effie that everything that the Capitol was lead to believe, to think that was real was indeed a pure lie. Effie had always admired Cressida, she had always admired how she was faithful to herself, how she didn't cared if someone talked about her behind her back, actually many times Effie had wished she could be just like her friend. Even through the two were completely opposite they had still managed to become good friends, Effie found herself trusting Cressida completely even more after the rebellion, after her time in Thirteen.

A few days ago Effie had gotten a call from Cressida, telling her that she would be coming to Twelve, for what Effie had no idea since Cressida hadn't told her the reason for the visit but knowing her friend she was sure that it had something to do with her job as a moviemaker. Yet she was thrilled to have her friend visiting, would give them a chance to catch up and see what has been going on with the other during the last two years.

The next morning Effie had been up earlier than usual, she took a shower and got dressed, a pair of jeans and a sweater was what the former escort had picked to wear, she had found herself enjoying the simple life in the district and actually enjoying the simple cloths. They were a lot more comfortable than any of her glamorous dresses, the ones the had wore for years in the Capitol. Leaving her blonde hair to fall over her shoulders the blonde woman left her house after grabbing her jacket and headed to the bakery, stopping briefly to have a quick breakfast before heading to the train station.

Looking around the passengers Effie tried to spot her friend, she was almost sure that Cressida hadn't changed much during the past two years, one way or another she would spot her friend of that she was sure.
