my foster bunnies have gone to their forever homes today and I didnt get a proper goodbye I felt so rushed and was happy they had been adopted. I did get to hold them both so that is something atleast. Sat with them before they were picked uo

I knew it would be sad but ive been in tears oen and off for over an hour. it feels like i gave them away I did not expect this level of sadness it feels near to grief

fostering is bittersweet but I am so happy for them

tw: animal abuse and hoarding

long story short, my dad lied to me.

my dog and two cats are trapped in a hoarders-level cesspool of a house and are surrounded by human and animal waste, rotting food, and broken windows.

i cannot take my dog in my current housing situation, not even with an ESA letter, because of other pets she would hurt.

i need to get a down payment on a trailer or manufactured home as soon as possible and get her out, but even that won't happen soon enough. she is still in danger every moment she is there and so are the cats.

IF YOU ARE IN THE WESTERN/UPSTATE NY AREA AND CAN FOSTER (YES, TEMPORARILY) A LARGE, ANIMAL AGGRESSIVE DOG, PLEASE CONTACT ME. I WILL PAY FOR FOOD AND CAN PROVIDE A CRATE FOR THE DURATION OF THE FOSTER. SHE IS ANIMAL AGGRESSIVE AND ABSOLUTELY CANNOT GO TO A HOME WITH ANOTHER DOG OR CATS, OR ONE WHERE SMALL ANIMALS OR BIRDS ARE NOT SEPARATED.

BACKGROUND CHECK WILL BE NECESSARY.

SHE IS UTD ON VACCINES, SPAYED BUT MAY NEED COSMETIC CARE.

IF YOU CAN FOSTER OR ADOPT ONE OR TWO FRIENDLY, TRAINED CATS (THAT ARE USED TO BUT WARY OF GENTLE DOGS), PLEASE CONTACT ME. THEY ARE NOT UP TO DATE ON SHOTS OR VET CARE AND WILL NEED IT.

Since I left my parents house I had no choice but to leave my fish (saltwater type) behind 😭is there anyone here that'd be willing to come to New Mexico and take them for fostering? For a few months, the maximum. I had to leave my abusive dad to be able to mentally and emotionally function. The shelter I'm at doesn't allow pets. The most I can do is come over once and awhile to change the water and feed them. Here are the pictures to prove them lol. My fish mean a lot in my life! They help me relax from stress, watching them swim and thrive makes me happy 😥and animals help heal humans who are suffering through all sorts of pain. My clownfish is like a daughter to me and I don't want to let go yet. Pm me if anyone is willing to take them in.

I finally got the approval to foster animals for my county’s animal shelter 🥺

I requested a max of 3 at a time but I’m gonna see about asking if there’s any siblings or any special cases of bonded pairs that they’re looking for help with
