So this just happened
Spending some last minute time wif the baby. My plane leaves in little less than eight hours. I hear this tiny little "wrrrrrrrrereeeeeeeee" noise and look down to see the bird with his tail up and an utterly panicked look on his face. I did a poo check and nothing. Apparently, he'd never farted before and it was completely terrifying him. After the noise stopped (It was an impressive fart, for a cockatiel) he turned around and around on my wrist, bit his butt feathers for a while, then looked up at me, completely confused, and said "Chrre?"
All I could do was shrug and say "I dunno either, buddy."
