Btw, meet Úrsula. She is my first ever daughter 🐓

She is a cockatiel, very young and hand-raised. She has not molt into her adult feathers.

She is very cute and wants to say hello to anyone who sees this post.

Nevis The Boop Engine & Friends

Last week, Nevis and I visited the Watercress Line - a heritage railway in southern England. Now the actual steam trains weren't running because of how dry it's been, but an old diesel engine brought us to meet some interesting characters at the other end of the line. Not Henry of course - he's still bricked up in that tunnel. (Yes, I know that in fact he was let out in the next episode and not sealed inside forever as some parts of the internet would have you believe.)

Nevis and I were out for a walk when there was a sudden shower, and we took shelter under some trees. Honestly after the heat wave and drought we've been having, I'm never going to complain about the rain again.
