King of Spain- Animals part 1
Animals Part 1 - King of Spain (lyrics)
This is what's done on the water ship. The wills of war have little to do with it. On a rescue mission to save out city, I got sidetracked because the water looked so pretty.
And they were furious, furious, furious, furious, furious at me With their dark cloud eyes and stones firmly in palm. Because it wasn't the first time it had happened. "But we're all just animals" I said, "We are all just animals".
The great red baron on it maiden flame Is taken by its nerves and let its enemy out of sight. On a rescue mission to save his country, His mind was so cloudy that he just couldn't do a thing.
And they were furious, furious, furious, furious, furious at him With their dark cloud eyes and stones firmly in palm. Because it wasn't the last time it would happened. "But we're all just animals" he said, "We are all just animals".
Yesterday you took me to the county fare. The circular motion of the rides that made me sick. But you just went on as if nothing had happened. I wanted to leave, but kept it to myself.
And I were furious, furious, furious, furious, furious at you With my dark cloud eyes and stones firmly in palm. Because it wasn't the first time it had happened. "But we're all just animals" You said, "We are all just animals".
I felt the need to figure out the lyrics for "Animals Part 1" by King of Spain. I really happen to like the song but there are no lyrics online that I could find (or delve deep enough to find). So I wrote my own. In the process, I now know the lyrics a lot better than before and I also was mentally annotating the song and making sense of it. I really didn't understand what the dude was talking about until now. That's sort of disappointing, right? That it took me a good while of listening to segments over and over and then writing it out for me to get it. This isn't always the case, but I feel like I didn't think about this song enough. I'm very tempted to do this with a bunch of other songs now, even if the lyrics are available online.
I think I'll type up the lyrics and post them after this.
