Wobble is my best friend. Really enjoying the sculpey, although realizing a bit more love and attention needs to go into the process rather than smooshing it around to look like feathers.

Plakat gets a little more detailing. Experimenting with the best way to make scales, I am liking this technique so far.I can't wait to add color to him!
...don't look at her too closely, she might blink. Wobble has feet and eyes of sort now, so she can now stand next to the computer and watch me. It's...disconcerting.
Can't wait to get this dude to the polypaint and posing stage!
Blep.
I am very aware that I should probably be working on other projects, but this one is a lot of fun and pretty fast. I like using Piper's concepts to learn some new things, and I did pick up a few tricks from this.Currently playing around in Marmoset to try and capture a cartoony feel, very nearly finished otherwise.
Sometimes it is fun to just sculpt something frivolous, with no intent other than for the joy of it. I started this in my lunch break back when I was at the studio and have pulled it out to finish up. I love Piper Thibodeau's work and I love bluetongues, so it makes perfect sense. I can't wait to sculpt his little tongue!
Finished! Concept by Piper Thibodeau, I just love Blue Tongue Skinks, and also blueberries..... more images on my Artstation - https://www.artstation.com/artwork/D52owo
