Enjoy a tasty vegan version of the famous animal-style fries with a special sauce on top. These fries are tasty, crispy, and full of flavor, so they can be used as a snack or side dish at any time.
Ingredients: 4 large potatoes, cut into fries. 2 tbsp olive oil. 1 onion, finely chopped. 1 cup vegan mayonnaise. 2 tbsp ketchup. 1 tbsp yellow mustard. 1 tbsp pickle relish. 1/4 cup vegan cheese, shredded. Salt and pepper, to taste. 2 tbsp chopped green onions, for garnish.
Instructions: Warm the oven up to 425F 220C. Put potato fries on a baking sheet and season them with salt, pepper, and olive oil. Flip the food over every 25 to 30 minutes while it's baking until it's golden brown and crispy. Put the chopped onion in a small saucepan and cook it until it turns clear. To make the sauce, put vegan mayonnaise, ketchup, mustard, pickle relish, and sauted onions in a bowl and mix them together. Set the fries aside and add the vegan cheese on top. Put them back in the oven for two to three minutes, until the cheese melts. Add the special sauce to the fries after taking them out of the oven. Before serving, sprinkle with chopped green onions. For a real "animal style" feel, serve hot in a white container.
