Violence of the Lambs - a one-man comedy about the Animal Apocalypse

  Philadelphia, PA – From the creator of last year's hit Drunk Lion ("Hilarious & philosophical" - NO Defender)  (★★★★★ - Edinburgh Fringe) comes Violence of the Lambs, a one-man comedy about the upcoming Animal Apocalypse.  Meet Marcus Livengood, comparative zoologist, certified Animal Behavior Expert, as he proves to you that the next great war, will be an Animal vs. Human war.  Which side are you on?  "Funny stuff."  (Phindie.com)

  This is Davis' second year performing in the New Orleans Fringe, for him the fringe "is very receptive to new work and has cultivated risk-taking audiences" making it a unique place to perform new shows.  Violence of the Lambs has toured throughout Philadelphia at "parks, rooftops, bars, restaurants, abandoned parking lots, houses, you name it, Violence of the Lambs has been there," and was recently featured in SoLoCom 2014 in New York.  The alter-ego of Marcus Livengood, a comparative zoologist, fits Davis' personality well.  "I've always been a little bit of an outsider, Marcus Livengood allows me to go full conspiracy-theorist crazy."

Violence of the Lambs will be performed at the First & Last Stop Bar (1843 Pauger St.) on Wednesday, November 19 – 7pm & 9pm, Thursday, November 20 – 7pm & 9pm, Friday, November 21 – 7pm & 9pm, Saturday, November 22, 4pm & Midnight, Sunday, November 23, 3pm & 7pm. Violence of the Lambs is written by theater maker Chris Davis and directed by Mary Tuomanen.  Recently Chris Davis returned from Edinburgh Fringe with his hit-show Drunk Lion ("A potent success" - Broadway Baby, "Metaphor comes alive" - ★★★★★ TV Bomb.)  Drunk Lion was performed as part of New Orleans Fringe festival last year ("Hilarious & philosophical. - NO Defender.)
