If you squint you can see Sal floating in the void near the bottom of panel 1 This creature is based on a common plankton. It was a challenge to make it something alien enough to be like WTF but also recognizably a living thing.

The spot where I ran out of buffer just had to be a page with multiple animations >___< But, I'm glad I was able to get it done without falling into the "one more day" spiral. Fully bumping the date after only one delay was a good decision. I wanted the primordial amorphous and wibbly but not totally formless or random, so I based it on the shapes of neurons.

Jordan's brand of magic, and often High Magic in general, has something of an eldritch presence. TBH, I don't like the GIF work on this so well, but at a certain point I have to say, it's getting posted on time either way. The best version is the version that actually gets done etc.
