This animation isn’t that clean but it gives a sense of the movement. I’m not doing too well on maintaining volume in the head but the arm swing and leg work fine. Still using @getanimatic app which works well for pencil tests. I upgraded the app so I can export a PSD file which I can import to Procreate for clean up but it’s still a bit of a process. I’m still trying to find workflow to make a cleaner animated look. Using the good ol’ LA Public Library to help animate this. I used the the new iPad on the Animatic app @getanimatic with Apple Pencil. This took about 45 mins. 13 drawings. This was more of a straight ahead method than pose-to-pose and the drawings were already made. This is from the book How to Draw Animation by @Christopher_hart_books I’m still trying to findgure out a good animation workflow with the iPad.
