L’anime di ”Free!” proseguirà con un nuovo film

Annunciata anche una pellicola riassuntiva per la terza stagione della serie.

Come forse ricorderete, il 12° ed ultimo episodio di “Free! Dive to the Future”, terza stagione della popolare serie creata da Kyoto Animation, si chiuse con un messaggio che recitava “See you in 2020...” (”Ci rivediamo nel 2020...”). Lo staff dello studio ha oggi rivelato che per il prossimo anno è infatti previsto un nuovo film, il quale sarà preceduto per ingannare l’attesa da un’altra pellicola. 

Quest’ultima però porterà al cinema, il 5 luglio di quest’anno, una ricostruzione della terza stagione televisiva con l’aggiunta di materiale inedito, definito come “nuovo episodio”. 

La prima stagione, intitolata  “Free! - Iwatobi Swim Club”, ha fatto il suo debutto nel luglio 2013, seguita l’anno dopo dalla seconda stagione, “Free! Eternal Summer” e nel 2018 da “Free! Dive to the Future” . Tutte le serie tv sono disponibili in Italia su Crunhyroll. 

Nel dicembre 2015 è stato prodotto il lungometraggio prequel “High Speed: Free! Starting Days”, ambientato prima degli eventi della prima stagione. Nel 2017 sono usciti i due film riassuntivi “Free!: Timeless Medley - Kizuna”  (22 aprile) e “Free!: Timeless Medley - Yakusoku” (1 luglio), mentre nell’ottobre del 2018 è stata la volta dello speciale “Free! Take Your Marks”. Il lungometraggio è ambientato durante la primavera prima del diploma, dopo gli eventi della seconda stagione, ed è composto da quattro brevi storie.
