Hi again! I’d also love to see more interaction between Violet and Gilbert’s friends; I think that would be fun. I also want them to finally deal with Edward—I think that was the name of Violet’s stalker.

Edward not getting what he deserved was one of my biggest pet peeves in VE, tbh. But I don’t think we’ll ever get back to him again, lol.

Hi, I’m back in the fandom after a long time—how are you? What do you know about this new volume? Honestly, I’d love for them to dedicate another chapter to the relationship between Hodgins and Violet. Speaking of which, what do you think of their relationship? To me, it’s one of the purest expressions of love (I mean fraternal love).

I’m still not done translating it so I haven’t read the whole story, but it’s pretty good! Akatsuki’s writing has gotten better and the plot is creative as always.

There’s only one thing about it that has bothered me, which is that this chapter seems to have been stretched a little too far. It feels like the editors told Akatsuki to fill up as many pages as she could in order to make it meet the page count. There’s a lot of repetition in character interactions and the same informations get reiterated over and over, for no apparent reason. It also takes excruciatingly long for things to be set in motion. In most of the chapters, Violet shows up at the very beginning, usually by page one or two. This time, her first appearance was on page 10 (page 26 of my Word doc translation). But that’s really the only downside so far.

The CH Postal Company do be the best found family ever. I love Violet and Hodgins’s relationship too! 😭❤️
