came out of my retirement of not drawing to draw a rough (modern) conan art style comparison thing for this meme on twitter

the context is Episode 890, where Atsushi Aono, an animator from early Conan who directed a fair number of episodes, came back after many years just to direct an episode in 2018, his style is distinct in that he draws very round Conans, it's easy to see his style in his episodes

the difference is night and day especially since it was a two-part ep and Aono directed the part 2
