Another thing I did at Uni today in about 45 minutes. Might use this animation for something, but for now stick it next to any music you want.

Over the last few months at Uni Iāve been (attempting) to learn 3D animation with 3DS MAX and safe to say I think I will be sticking to 2D animation or even stop motion over this! Above are most of the little experiments I made: A bouncing ball, and kettle flying about (I dunno), a lamp (Pixar this aināt!) and finally an attempt at a 3D version of the Labbox.
The reason the lamp gets pulled off a stage is because for some reason the lamp kept morphing when I moved it so it was kind of a happy accident! I really donāt like how the dancing looks on he Labbox bit, though the camera movement was fun. Oh well, I tried!
My first crack at a looped animation and my first proper go at animating vehicles, mainly done for a Uni project. The file is called MXTT.swf, named after a certain arcade racing game.
A collection of animated GIFs I made over the last six months or so, mainly for use as DeviantArt avatars and some were requests by friends on there. Some were animated in flash, others made within ImageReady.
Hereās the complete Tron parody animation I made for the Sci-Fi Channel! They ended up including it in a video podcast along with the other animations made for them by our college as well as featuring them on their website.
I've been sitting on this animation for quite some time now (I started it in September), and I'm really too lazy to complete it, so here it is anyway: Manga-Gaga 200: the final issue. A bit Anticlimactic maybe, but the website had a good long life span (5 years!) so it's all good.
New animation coming soon!
I've finally been given the nod to start working on my 50 second animation for a TV channel, after sending an e-mail of the idea. I don't want to reveal much yet, but the animation will be stop motion, using nothing more than grid paper, felt tips and my hands. Remember that scene in The Fuji's where you see a hand drawing on then screwing up a piece of paper? Well, this animation is going to be a extension on that brief experiment. Oh, and as a requirement of the project, the movie subtlety references a classic scene from a movie. The clue is in the grid paper.
The deadline is the 1st of September, so you'll most likely see it by then, if not a short while after. Once I have a storyboard and Dope sheet sorted, I'll go up to my Uni and ask to borrow the Lunchbox kit I used for The Fujiās and Rocket Number Nine (I'm sure I've mentioned how much I love that Lunchbox thing before). This should be fun!
Into hibernation I go, for I finally got my hands on the kit I need to animate my 50 second animation for Sci-Fi Channel! I was supposed to get my mitts on it all Friday, but the guy who was currently using it needed it for just a little longer, but now itās mine, all mine! HAHAHAHAHAHA! Ahem. I'm not sure how long it will take to make, but I'm gonna use it for some other experiments while I have it all to myself. See you in a couple days, or something.
