Review your story - Are your story beats clear and readable to the viewer
Review your poses- Can you push (exaggerate) your key poses further to make them more interesting?
Review your timing- Can you make your timing more snappy or appealing? Does the viewer read the action correctly, or do you need to spend more time on key poses? Could adding more anticipation make your animation more readable?
I believe my story beats are fairly clear and readable for the viewer and that they can understand and imagine the character acting out the action
I think I could have pushed my key poses a fair amount more to make them more interesting. I was mainly focused on making them look quite realistic which in turn makes them decent but not entirely interesting. I think for character 1 I could of potentially made her more hunched over and slouched and sloth like, make it more visible that they were tired and dragging themselves around. For character 2 I could o possibly made her arch her back more, make it look unrealistic, that she is trying really hard to be as straight and poised as she could possibly be.
Initially my timings after the in-betweens and breakdowns was a little to fast. With character 1 I managed to make the timing more appealing, that is show just how slowly the character is moving. Character 2 however, not so much, her action is a lot more fast paced then character 1 and I was unable to make it exactly as Id like, that is have the character slowly and methodically walking to the chair, turning around, lowering herself and getting back up, all in a call and poised manner. I believe the viewer can read the action that is occurring quite well with both characters, I think I showed my key poses well enough but there can always be room for improvement. Adding more anticipation to character 1 could possibly make it more readable, especially when they character is about to plonk down onto the chair. I couldn’t quite manage to get that the way I wanted.
