ROBOT BOY REFERENCES
Robot boy was a childhood cartoon and his design is so cool.
Props to his design team, I always wished I can have a robot like him.
ZER0 - Inspiration and Shout out
I'm actually pretty obsessed with this design ever since I picked up Borderlands 2 when it released. He was my first ever character and my heavy influence in the creation of Bruce's emotions.
Being a machine (question mark?) He was like my created character and I managed to take his iconic heads up display and implement it in my own way on Bruce.
Sure it may be less iconic and less stand out like Zer0 has it, but he's just so bloody cool, like take a look at this absolute badass. Now stop looking, don't take away his badass-ness
Anyway, I love this character to the bone.
Bruce is way cuter though, even if Zer0 is cooler (sorry Bruce)
SOURCE OF INSPIRATION
Solo Levelling, the best Manwha ever. I wanted to use his overpowered glare and aura as as my source of inspiration for power, character type and what he can do.
BRUCE SPEAKING!
I have successfully extracted the hidden voice of Bruce from his very hidden stash...
The very voice which surrounded the animation, the original, mythical, voice.
Enjoy and don't forget to go to the doctors for an ear check-up after you listen to this.
AND WHAT A PERFECT POST FOR MY 100TH POST OF THE BLOG!
I will release a subtitled version at some point.
Adobe Audition - In Depth View of Special Effects
Using my knowledge found in my Experimental Studio Practices on Audition with Jim and time spent working, I used the audition stock effects which would enhance my vocals and change its pitch through minor adjustments after I set the effect.
I didn't do anything too big to change my voice drastically and I think I could have done more to do better.
But the main effects were:
Pitch Shifter
Studio Reverb
Chorus Effect
FFT Filter
Speech Volume Leveller
To make my vocals louder and clearer as it was being very distorted by the pitch shifters in Adobe Audition.
Adobe Audition / Premiere Pro - Voice recording over my video
I used the respective video editing software in order to create these audio clips and try to make them clearer and to their maximum potential as possible.
I used my own microphone which I had to order and utilised the recording feature of each software such as the multitrack session on Audition and one click record button on Premiere Pro.
It took a few tries, and this was my first time, so forgiveness please :(
I did, however, enjoy it!
Creation of the First Animation: Part 2
The creation of the first animation also used a lot of weight painting which was pretty painful because at the start, it wouldn't move. At all. AND THIS WAS AFTER FINALLY FIGURING OUT HOW TO PARENT MY OBJECTS PROPERLY WITH THE ARMATURE.
But after I got it to work, it was a matter of moving it (even more pain).
The horns of my character involved metallic shading in order to create a shine whenever emission hit the surface.
Camera movement + Lighting angle = Aweeesomeeeeeeee
But this went without pain. again. more. key. framing. hAHahAahahAHa
