What's your opinion on Lizzie?
Lizzzieeeee, dear Lizzie! I love her. I think that people totally underestimate her and that the fanbase is extremely judgmental of her. She cares the most about Ciel in the whole series and puts him first. I respect that about her a lot. People look at the ring incident and go, “Wow. That girl is annoying and obsessive.” But when you think about it, she never meant to destroy it. She didn’t understand the importance of it to him and as she says if she would’ve known she would have never done it. It was the heat of the moment mistake, and that was derived from the fact Ciel doesn’t put very much stock or care into her. He doesn’t see all she does for him. Her decorating his house is her way of trying to make him happier. When we see the real Elizabeth come out, I think it’s a reality check for most fans because it goes to show that at the end of the day, she will do all she can to protect Ciel. The same cannot be said for Sebastian. Sebastian only keeps Ciel alive for his soul, he has little care for whether or not Ciel ends up in pain. As we see in the Circus arc.
Truly, I think she is one of the best characters in the series.
