𓆩♡𓆪 this is a big reason i thought kuroo would be match for you because if you're into musicals / theatre and it's evidently important to you , then you'd definitely be best suited with a character who is also into that kinda stuff or is open-minded enough to give it a try
𓆩♡𓆪 kuroo is a very smart and of course it's not mentioned in canon that he's into theatre but if he performs well in classes, then i assume he'd have been introduced to a play or two and have a basic understanding of it
𓆩♡𓆪 albeit he probably wouldn't have a massive understanding of theatre before he meets you, BUT after he does and learns that you're super into it, he will definitely make an effort to learn more about it and show an interest in what you do — especially if you do the same for his interest in volleyball
𓆩♡𓆪 he'd go to every single one of your shows and try to get tickets as close to the front as possible , but you'd defo need to teach him a thing or two about theatre etiquette bc otherwise he is going to try to record you. it'll be so distracting too bc you'll be at the front of the stage trying to sing your heart out , then you make the mistake of glancing down at the audience and see kuroo with his phone out, the flash on and recording you, while he wears the cheesiest grin of pride on his face
𓆩♡𓆪 also if you don't tell him beforehand not to , he'll cheer whenever you're on stage. like it could be the start of the most heart-felt monologue, and the whole auditorium is silent, and you'll hear his voice holler, "WOO!"
𓆩♡𓆪 so yeah , if it's a serious show, you might want to give him some lessons on how ot behave first
𓆩♡𓆪 also he is just so proud of your abilities, like he is the type to give you a bouquet of flowers after every show , no matter what. like even if you were just playing an extra who had two lines and like five minutes of stage-time, he'll still bring you a big-ass bundle of flowers and praise you like you were the star of the whole show.
𓆩♡𓆪 but if you do get cast in a leading role, he will NOT stop gloating on your behalf. he'll start introducing you to his friends as a superstar without a hint of sarcasm in his voice. he'll even start posting your show pics on facebook like a proud parent with corny captions 😭 "pictures of my girlfriend playing the LEAD in the musical tonight!!! you killed it babe!!!" he started doing it ironically to try tease you a little but he just found it so funny that he keeps doing it forever.
𓆩♡𓆪 but to coincide with that, he'd also be super grateful if you got into volleyball for his sake. although post-timeskip he doesn't play in a divison leaugue team anymore (i think) , volleyball is still a big part of his life so he'd like it if you watched the games with him on tv, or even came with him to watch in-person whenever y'all got tickets.

𓆩♡𓆪 omg kuroo would love to have someone to go to the gym with, since kenma was never keen on going to the gym and bokuto is now based in osaka since joining the msby black jackals
𓆩♡𓆪 he'd get you a membership for whichever one he goes to so you could head there together. while at the gym he'd probably let you focus on doing your thing , since he'd mainly be doing legs and strength training , and he wouldn't make you spot him unless you offer lol
𓆩♡𓆪 but if you're both into strength training then he'd totally appreciate it if you spotted him. although there would be the added pressure of not messing up cos he doesn't want to embarrass himself in front of you
𓆩♡𓆪 if you were into cardio , he'd defo go on long runs on the treadmill next to you just to annoy and bother you the entire time lol. at first it's fine and you're both happily chatting away while jogging but by the time you're on about mile seven and you're both panting and sweating , it's so jarring when he randomly turns to you and asks through gasps , "so... if you were a type of cheese... which one would you be...."

𓆩♡𓆪 in terms of reading, the genres you chose are really reminiscent of kuroo. again, being a very intelligent character i hc that he'd know quite a few classics, or at the very least, some. so the two of you could talk about that when you first meet.
𓆩♡𓆪 and this might be totally absurd but i think he'd know quite a lot of shakespeare. originally he'd only basics like romeo and juliet or hamlet, but after he met you he'd get into pretty much all of them. and he'd be super corny and randomly recite dialogue / prose from the plays to you when he's trying to be romantic.
𓆩♡𓆪 but the thing is, even though he's smart enough to remember the quotes, he always butchers them when he recites them aloud. "Shall I compare thee to a summer's day?" somehow becomes, "Shall I compareth thee to a summer holiday?" and the awful part is that he'll immediately realise when he's said something wrong and try to correct himself but it's too late cos you're already laughing your gut up
𓆩♡𓆪 so instead he often opts to write them down. in his best handwriting, he'll write "i love you with so much of my heart that none is left to protest" from 'much ado about nothing' on the small cards that come with the bouquet he gives you after your performances. or he writes "i would not wish any companion in the world but you." in a text message and sends it to you at 4.12PM on a random tuesday.
𓆩♡𓆪 and when you text him back like 'huh i thought you're at work?? 😭' he's just responds 'cannot i not think about you while i'm at work 😇' ... everyday you pray he doesn't get fired lol

𓆩♡𓆪 tbf kuroo could pretty much fit in with any love language , because he enjoys giving all of them. he gifts you jewellry all the time, he cooks you dinner most nights, he takes you out for one-on-one dinner at least once a week, he's constantly telling you how beautiful you are and of course, he can barley keep his hands off you.
𓆩♡𓆪 but you're both compatible in a sense that your giving languages are likely the two he likes to receive the most, especially quality time. he'll do literally anything and everything with you , because he just loves being around you and will talk about anything. even if he's not talking, as long as you're in the general vicinity, he'll probably be smiling. he finds it the most cute when you ask him to do errands with you. usually the idea of driving to the post-office and picking up clothes from the dry-cleaner sounds banal , but with you, pretty much everything becomes enjoyable to him.

𓆩♡𓆪 he's pretty physically affectionate too. whenever you finish a show , the second he sees you he'll wrap you in a massive hug. one of the ones were he holds you so tightly and spins you around so quickly that your feet start to lift off the floor slightly. whenever he's standing behind you, he's the type to drape his arms over your shoulder and wrap them around your neck. kinda like a chokehold but loving lol.

𓆩♡𓆪 your personality is another big reason i think kuroo is suitable for you. because in terms of your sociability, you're kinda reminiscent of kenma. in a sense that you both appear more laid-back at first , but become more talkative around people you're familiar with. although from your description, you seem slightly more energetic than kenma, after you get to know someone. perhaps similar to bokuto.
𓆩♡𓆪 and of course, kenma & bokuto are charcaters who kuroo is really close with, so logically he'd get on pretty well with you too. he's shown to be patient and cooperative with kenma's shyness, and naturally he'd behave simiarly with you. he wouldn't be put-off by your initial apprehension and reservedness. in fact, it'd probably be a trait about you that he appreciates.

𓆩♡𓆪 besides smart ass activities, he's also happy to do fun things with you, like going to a theme park , like you mentioned. i doubt he'd be scared of rollercoasters so he'd love going on as many as possible with you. he's pretty responsible so he'd know when to stop , but he is easily persuaded so if you want to keep going on rides until you're both dizzy , staggering about the park and on the verge of throwing up , then he's down for that too lol

𓆩🔞𓆪 he's usually not overly into pda , but when y'all go the gym together and he gets to see you all tired and sweaty , in your cute little gym outfits with those second-skin leggings, he genuinely cannot pry his hands off you.
𓆩🔞𓆪 when you enter the gym together , before you go off your seperate ways to do your own workouts, he'll give you a little kiss... which always devolves into a full-on make-out session. he'll start kissing down your neck, leaving hickeys and grabbing your ass unless you prise yourself away from him lol
𓆩🔞𓆪 when he runs into you around the gym, just by coincidence, he'll sneak up behind you and smack your ass, making you squeal a bit from surprise. of course he'll just laugh and tease you about it.
𓆩🔞𓆪 in general , he tries to workout as far away from you as possible because if he can see you while he's doing his reps, you'll only distract him. one time he was so focussed on watching your tits bounce in your tank top as you jog on the treadmill, that he almost dropped a dumbbell on his foot
𓆩🔞𓆪 showering after you finish in the gym is generally futile because as soon as you come out of the woman's showers, you meet kuroo at his car so y'all can drive home... except you never immediately drive home. 90% you both end up fucking in the back seat , either you ride him or he'll fuck you in doggy across both the seats. and naturally you both go on for so long that you end up just as sweaty as when you finished at the gym.

for @cinnabutton: i really had to think at first cos i couldn't really think of any character from haikyuu or jjk that would be super into theatre and also playful , but eventually i landed on kuroo. it was between him and oikawa , bc they're two of the few characters that are ✅playful ✅ smart enough to understand theatre ✅ & open-minded enough to learn about it. but i settled on kuroo cos your personality matches more with characters he's already shown to get on with. anyway , hope you liked this <3
