Reasons for Choosing joOji's "I-BULL" as the Final Season Opening Theme For the final season, we received more song proposals than ever before. Since it was the final season, I wanted a song with impact. I already liked joOji's music, and there were a few parts in the demo that I wasn't really keen with with, so I asked if it was possible to improvise them. joOji responded with "Absolutely," so I gave him some requests like "I like this part" and "I really like this part," and he came back with something that was almost like a completely different song. It was really good, and it felt like we got it right on the first try.

Reasons for choosing 9Lana's "Rasen" as the Final Season Ending Theme Among the proposals we received during the initial demo stage, this song is way above the rest in terms of quality. We decided at that stage that we would definitely use this song for either the opening or ending theme. The melody is great, the lyrics are great, the arrangement is great—the song itself is of very high quality. It could be used for either, but I was hoping that a song of this quality should be used for the ending. The intro is fantastic, and I thought it would be wonderful if it smoothly transitioned into the end of the story.

Mawaru Penguindrum Complete Soundtrack (TV Series & Films) - Playlists Now on YouTube!

Posted this on the Penguindrum subreddit, but I am sharing it on Tumblr as well!

Given I wasn't able to find a playlist on YouTube with Penguindrum's complete soundtrack (I've been seeing public playlists with incomplete or scattered tracks), I have decided to make one myself! This playlist is also for those who don't use streaming services for music (Spotify, Apple Music) and rely on or prefer YouTube.

TV series Playlist here!

Playlist also includes full versions of Penguindrum’s opening and ending themes. Along with the songs by Triple H. With the exceptions of: Hide & Seek and Daddy’s Shoes. I could not find videos uploaded with those songs unfortunately. So, Hide & Seek has its TV version on the playlist and Daddy's Shoes is excluded. I would love to upload those songs myself (I own the Triple H CD album) but copyright is a bitch and past experiences have lead those songs to be removed. :/ I will update the playlist should those songs ever get posted!
