Ocean Waves (1993)

This film hit me right on the feels. Agh, it's bittersweet and nostalgic and complicated all at the same time. It tackles the complexity of friendships, confusion and explorations on love, regrets, and healing from past, painful wounds. I honestly felt mad with one of the main characters at times but the ending was just right. It was like a pile of scattered puzzles finally assembled on all the right places. In other words, I really loved this anime (and the title as well!). 💙

Arrietty (2010)

I'm currently binge-watching Studio Ghibli films and this is one of the best I've watched so far. I absolutely enjoyed every minute of it. The story and animation is truly unforgettable and I felt the compassion and sincerity of the characters as the movie unraveled. Agh, just beautiful. ❤
