I'm so weird when it comes to shows and what i binge watch

after i took a break from watching Various Winter Anime i ended up binge watching all of Mirai Nikki back to back with Popples (an 80s cartoon made to sell Toys)

i highly recommend pairing both of these shows together if you'd like to melt your mind and forget what logic is

I'm watching the osamu dazai isekai (no longer allowed in another world). it's SO fucking silly I love it. literally can't look away from the screen because each moment is packed with stupid jokes. like sensei is just Munching fucking aspirin like candy or something? Attempting a suicide pack with a pink haired anime princess he JUST met??? I'm losing my mind.

it's been nice because for a few months I legit thought I couldn't watch TV anymore. I was Hating everything I started, though in hindsight I was probably just really depressed. ANYWHO.

I also started mewkledreamy a few weeks ago, though I'm only 12 episodes in. The first episode was really good but it wasn't until episode 10 that I felt familiar enough with the setup to truly enjoy it. It's a sanrio magical girl with silly talking plushies and a airheaded blond protagonist. Basically, it's as great as it sounds if that's the kinda thing you're into. good paring with the dazai isekai imo. some pure silliness to go with the dark humor,

I've been afraid to revisit detective conan, as I thought it was heavily tied to past memories of a time I don't like returning to. Turns out that hasn't been the case (hehe) I kinda totally forgot most of the show LOL. EVEN THOUGH I WATCHED MOST OF THE ENGLISH DUB AS A WEE PRE TEEN?? i remember some of the plotlines vaguely but everything feels mostly fresh.

I've been watching it nonstop with Ian, who i always appreciate watching things with. I wasn't expecting them to like it as much as they do, it's really cute 🥰 we keep saying "LOVE IS BURNING" in that wobbly voice at each other.

okay like literally tho in episode four when angel lily is introduce her mom like freaking SLAPPED her LDOSLSDJHDS and I was NOT prepared for that it was absolutely shocking i kid u not. but then momoko girlbossed in and was all like "bitch you're my fucking aunt how could you abuse my girl yuri here i Look Up To You As A Mother Figure I dont think My Late Mother would of slapped Her Kid cunt" and I was like WOOOOO WOOOOO YOU GO GIRL

and surprisingly her aunt was like oh im sorry actually u are so right and they all hugged and it was really touching and unrealistic and i kinda loved it but it was also a lil too much ROFL

anywho i dont remember what happened in episode five so ultimately the slap moment was the catalyst in my journey with wedding peach (for the time being) and i've moved onto watching tokyo mew mew (which i have more nostalgia for and am having more fun watching).

so i've abandoned wedding peach (too much wedding stuff lol) and i've moved onto tokyo mew mew with low expectations but i'm actually really enjoying what i've seen thus far. i remember watching the english dub as a child when it aired on tv but i didnt see many episodes.

the way the show plays up ichigo's cat like aspects is really charming, and the humor honestly reminds me of sailor moon in a lot of ways, which i like. i feel confident about finishing the whole season, which is saying something considering that I rarely finish Anything** outside of movies. **unless i'm doing the activity with ian, we somehow burn through media when we put our minds to the task. y'know, good bonding time~
