More Animorph Headcanons (because I’m putting off updating my fanfiction)
Marco is definitely the kid who went through hobbies like they were candy. No one can convince me that this boy doesn’t have a skateboard, guitar, and a collection of toys he thought would be worth something when he was an adult
Andalites have their own form of poetry and enjoy human poetry, even if it doesn’t always make sense
Eva is Cuban. It’s never specified where Eva originates from and I think having family in another country is why we never see any of Eva’s family visit her widowed husband and motherless son. Plus it’s nice to imagine that once the war ended Eva and her son spent time bonding over Cuban food and music or even visited Eva’s family in Cuba
It’s kind of canon that Elfangor was tall for an asrith (he was called the ‘big’ one a few times in TAC) so I’d like to think he and his brother are actually quite tall for Andalites, even into their adulthood.
Marco loves romcoms and he and Ax binge watched them while they shared the scoop, I don’t think that needs further explanation
Rachel definitely got into more fights in school than just the one documented in that one Marco book (I can’t remember the title and I’m too lazy to research)
Cassie and Marco catch up every now and again after the war; Marco talks about his life as a star and Cassie talks about the gross stuff she’s seen while working towards becoming a vet
After the war, special groups are made for people who weren’t willingly infested by the Yeerks
As much as I love the idea of Peter and Eva being happy with each other, they were definitely forcing it a little to give Marco some sense of normalcy in his crazy life. They do love each other but how could Eva not be hurt that her husband didn’t notice that she was different?
Some type of memorial statue was made for the auxiliary Animorphs and Rachel, one that the remaining Animorphs think is sappy and often joke that Rachel would gripe about it if she were alive
Marco has a lot of trauma from when David snuck into his room, tied him up, and morphed him. Most of the trauma we see dealt by David is on Rachel, but not a lot of people talk about how (probably) Marco’s worst nightmare came true. An enemy struck in the middle of the night and Marco was night prepared, I refuse to believe that didn’t fuck with his head
Sometimes, Cassie will morph whale and try to find Aftran, even if she knows it’s unlikely they’ll find each other
Post-war, Marco decided to take car of Gafinilan and Mertil when Gafinilan became too weak to continue morphing. I also believe that with the help of Marco and Alloran, Mertil convinced Gafinilan to become a healthy Andalite nothlit.
If the guys did end up surviving their encounter with the One, I think Jake would get more involved with the military and even spend some time on the Andalite homeworld in hopes of joining Andalite and military forces
