Three years since the outbreak. Three years since Eren had lost his mother and the world had gone to hell.  Three years of hell. Three years of running. Three years of fighting. Three years of surviving. 

Now Eren was just on a run for supplies. He had walked two hours out of town. An abandoned gas station. He was in the middle of grabbing cans and putting them in his pack when he bumped into someone else.

He froze and turned. Eyes wide as he began to asses the situation, he only had his hand gun, not his rifle, and he couldn’t tell if this guy was friendly or not.

“So how is this going to go?” Eren Asked looking up at the taller, more well built male.

Hi! The network is for people of all experiences, old or new, big or small. While it’d be nice to see some of your work before the deadline, we take into account everyone is at a different stage in their blog. Don’t feel like you have to force content just to try and join if you aren’t ready yet! The last thing this network wants to do is make people uncomfortable or pressure people into joining/ doing things they don’t want to.

“The only person I have been with in the last month was you on the night of graduation. When I told you how I felt, and you gave me one amazing night.” He looked to Sousuke.

“I want to keep it, and I want you to be involved, but I need to know how you feel on this.”

In the late 20th century, after the outbreak of world war 3, and the end of the might USSR and United States, global governments fell. Until the mighty Empire of Japan reemerged. Along side the great Empire of Mexico, the two mega states over took the world into a new era of monarchy, and dared not fight each other, fearing global collapse. They ruled respectively one hemisphere and a series of islands.

They placed nobility in con-quested powers. The mightiest went to the Nobelist families. This was especially true in the Japanese empire’s powerful hold of the European nations.

The nation formerly known as Germany went to the mighty Yamazaki noble family. They ruled Germany with strength, yet an odd form of compassion, putting what had been a restless population of formerly proud people at ease, as they slowly became proud citizens of the empire of Japan.

Come the year 2017, and the era of peace that had ensued, the Yamazaki family was wealthy and powerful, but a new more recent series of wars, civil wars, had occured. Nobles wanting more power for themselves, the emporer was not happy, the nobles where divided into those who sought more power, and those who where content.

The alignments, were sometimes blurred. However, the Ymazaki family promised the Germans that in interest of preventing rebellion, there would be no attempts to expand their power and potentially threaten the culture of the Germans.

Then came the assassination attempt against the prince, Sousuke Yamazaki. The prince was known for appearing cold and icy, but was rumored to have a soft side. The attempt did not come as a surprise. The Nanase family that ruled England was known to have their eyes on Germany, and now this could mean the peaceful land of was about to be plagued by war once more.

Eren Yeager, the son of the doctor that personally served the Yamazaki family, was appointed to be the prince’s body guard, or as he thought of it, meat shield. Of course no effort would be made to protect his life.

Though if he was honest with himself, Eren had always looked at Sousuke with envy, and with a little bit of a crush. However, he had only spoken to the male at balls, and they only really got to sit near each other once, when they where children.

This would make things awkward. The heavy doors creaked as Eren made his way through the halls towards the Prince’s room. The way was familiar from his training in medical emergencies, but he had never actually gone inside before.

Until today, that had always been strictly forbidden. It still felt weird, about to knock on the door, his hand would not move. Of course it wouldn’t, this would usually be punished.

Finally, he did it. heart racing, he took a deep breath. it was only proper to announce oneself to the royals before entering an area they where in, especially their own private room.

“Prince Sousuke, I am Eren Yeager, the one that has been selected to be your....body guard.” He mentions with authority in his voice.
