Animuc sunday was equally wholesome and wonderful as saturday - but I actually took some selfies. u__û
I also want to congratulate past-me for the decision to wear a cosplay with sunglasses on a convention sunday bc hooo boy, was I tired and we all don't get younger. Crowley is also very comfy. Even the shoes are fine for a sunday.
Also absolved some Animuc traditions like visiting the stunning baroque church that is on the cloister grounds, haveing lunch in the Klosterstübl' resturant (their food is still so good and... ohmygod like sex, enlightment and salvation is alright but have tried their peanutbutter and peacan nut ice creme!???) And chatted away the evening in the Biergarten till it was way to late.
I also did take some proper Crowley and Aziraphael photos that will follow later.
Then I broke my toe on the bathtub rim.... that was a bit of the bummer tho. :'D
Sentimental rambling under the cut
This was my first convention since 2019 and I know that Animuc is always quite diffrent from other conventions for various reasons but... man, this made me soft about all this again. Conventions and cosplays and the people and all.
Like.... I did not miss covnentions these past years and I was fine not going even when things started to pick up again bc I had other things on my plate and managed to hold contact with most of my friends and have most my closer friends in the city I live in but... idk, conventions are so specific and it just it me how much I love this specific kind of atmosphere and people and why I love cosplay so much - it just hit me again how much I love doing this. Also pair cosplays??? Even before the pandemic, I had barely done this or just lose groups and man, it's so diffrent from cosplaying alone. I should do this more often. :')
tl;dr - I'm soft, will go to more conventions again
Animuc saturday was incredible. The weather actually cleared up amazingly, wearing Allura was a joy (or... I'm queen Elsa for every little girl and Lady Sif for every gamer dude, I guess ¯\_(ツ)_/¯), I meet so many old friends and new people, had some really cool photoshootings and then ended the day with some burgers and dear friends. And a _terrible_ sunburn....
First convention after 4 years and it was really really nice. Like... Animuc is always very nice but going there with my bestie and staying at my friends place made it pretty premium.
Glad the weather cleared up after friday tho, it was very wet. :<
Guess I will go to more conventions this year. :')
