i know exactly how you feel, anisa. idk i just can't get excited when i know there will be no emma :( it's just not going to be the same. i'm willing to give it a chance, but i'm not really expecting to enjoy it. but who knows right? maybe we'll be surprised.

Yup complete lack of excitement from me too, which is sad. I really do wish they hadn’t renewed the show tbh but they have.. so I guess I might as well give it a go. I’ll watch the first couple eps for Killian and ehh maybe we’ll love it? Doubtful, but.. :’)

Well, considering how OUATIW went, they probably figured it was a safer bet.

Probably, haha. They completely messed up with that because it wasn’t that bad of a show imo, I enjoyed it. I think it probably would have done a lot better if they’d aired it during the OUAT mid season break.

I honestly really wished they would have made it a spin off instead because it makes so much more sense. s6 had the perfect ending for the charming family and it would have been best.

Exactly! Season 6 was the perfect place to end. It’s just not the same show anymore with such a massive cast overhaul so a spin off would have made much more sense. I don’t know, maybe it’s easier to get an audience if it’s not introduced as a whole new show?

It's not a $Q Ep, there is no $Q - they are friends and will have to work together. I wish that people would stop putting relevance to crack ships. We need to see how the Charming family works together on this one.

1000% this! I might be in the minority here but I’m looking forward to the episode :)

Yeah, her EQ hasn't been anything but ridiculous camp all season. It's too much. It completely takes away what made her a great villain. Lana as Regina has been actually really good, but Lana as the EQ? It's not even remotely enjoyable.

I thought maybe it was because it’s separate entity EQ, but I realised that I first noticed it towards the end of S4. This season has just been atrocious, though. I know lots of others aren’t fans but I think Lana’s a fantastic actor so it’s difficult to watch her EQ performance, knowing she’s capable of so much more. Her pain and anger used to be completely believable but now, with the dramatic cackling and flouncing gestures, I just can’t take her seriously.  It might be the writing, I don’t know. But it sucks having your favourite villain reduced to, well, this..
