Jongin while growing up believed he will be an alpha, potentially a next alpha of his pack. With his strong character, even other children - alphas, betas, and omegas were enthusiastically gathering around him. Before Jongin reached maturity a head alpha of the pack died and a new one got the title - Xiumin who Jongin used to consider as the main rival. This didn't discourage Jongin to pursue his dream. Even when he found out he is an omega.
It’s truly beautiful story of Jongin growing up, fighting new obstacles and in the end reaching his dream although not in an exact way he thought he will. Jongin’s interaction with Chanyeol, his best friend, his just a cherry on top.
