Anima is a member of the LCCA and formerly a Devyat' Association North Section 5 Fixer. Originally from District 16 (P Corp.), she was recruited for her disposition to prioritize her work and the lives of others over her own.

Anima has a fascination for prosthetics, to the point that she has a private collection of several parts at her house, which she promises she's keeping as "futureproofing" in case they are needed someday. Despite this, she has no prosthetics of her own in her body.

Following the events of Canto I, she rushed into the L Corp. facility upon hearing someone had been beheaded, managing to retrieve the head in a U Corp. preservation box, and later offering this person a third chance at life in a prosthetic body that she put together.

Canto IX Assist Unit concepts

Hi! I'm new to Tumblr as a whole, so I don't really have any posts to pull from for ease of explanation (I'm working on a pinned post to explain everything this account will be centered around, but it will take a bit).

So I have a yumeship project with Yuri (hypersharing btw), where I pair her with my OC Anima, who works for the LCCA and was the person that managed to salvage Yuri's head quickly enough to revive her in a prosthetic body, leading to a timeline where Yuri is alive and ends up working for the LCE.

Over the past couple days I decided to work on making custom skill kits for the two of them to show their dynamic!

The balancing factor was both the Callisto/Albina fight and random Ring enemies throughout the LCE facility, so I was cross-referencing multiple Assist Unit kits to make sure that all of this was relatively balanced and showcased their duo dynamic as best I could!

I really gave this my 130% and are very proud of the end result!

Enough time has passed

Anyone wanna talk about prosthetics?

I overheard some people at HQ say that Aeng-du was going to get prosthetic arms to replace her own that she lost during the recent raid, and I just want to see her and figure out what specific model they're giving her…

I have so many different ones in my collection, but it makes sense that the higher ups would prefer to get them custom-made just for her (which I still can't do on my own…)

I want to know what Workshop they commissioned so bad… the wait is killing me, ugh.

Back at my place I have this massive storage room (it's bigger than my own bedroom…) full of shelves with boxes filled to the brim with prosthetic parts! I've mostly gotten them from browsing local Workshop catalogues, but a few of them I got in auctions or even scavenging.

Scavenging is not something I get to do often because, frankly, there aren't that many places to do so back at the Nest? District 16 is pretty tidy, all things considered… but anyways! I've gotten the chance to do so after entering Limbus Company because a good chunk of our missions are on the Backstreets, which I had never gotten to visit before! They got so many interesting Workshops everywhere!

But, ah… where was I? Oh! The collection, yeah.

After retrieving Yuri's head I finally got my first chance to put a prosthetic body together. I used some pieces from old-ish models that were made locally in P Corp. (which I believe were planned to be exported to K Corp. in the past? I don't remember the whole story, but I got them for cheap despite being so high quality) and, not to brag or anything, but I think I did a pretty snazzy job, heh heh.✨

What I made wasn't… fully to Yuri's liking, no… I was pretty darn proud of it, but… I mean, can't force your taste onto others now, can you?

I ended up contacting the Workshop that supplied parts to the MultiCrack Office at the time (still a shame to hear what happened to Sasha… I still got what few pieces of merch were made of her though…), and they made a body that resembled that of Yuri's original one, to the best of her memory. She… still had some doubts due to things I don't want to bring up publicly, but at least she had a body now! Closest we could get to her old self with fractured memories and the Head's restrictions in place.

…ah, shoot, just looked at the hour. I got some business to attend to, but thanks for hearing me out! Feels nice to share this story with someone.

(I didn't even get to show the collection or talk about the custom pieces I got from *the* WowieSparkz, ugh… next time, trust)
