Occupation: Affable warp-capable humanoids of the week

First Appearance: "Equinox” (VOY, 1999)

Summary: These peaceful warp-capable humanoids are among the friendlier denizens of the Delta Quadrant. In their traditions, they use a rather unusual summoning beacon to attract "Spirits of Good Fortune" from seemingly nowhere, though their science knows full well that they are really nucleogenic life-forms from another dimension. They are willing to show these spirits to anyone who has proven themselves peaceful and is willing to see, though they are protective of them, and will withdraw any help they had offered if the life-forms are deliberately attacked or injured.
