Post ROK, in which (somehow) Mikoto has survived, but he's no longer the Red King, and Anna has taken his place as new King as it happens in canon.
It's been some time since the destruction of the Slate; not too much, but neither right after. It's that time in which the emergencies have been managed, and now everyone is trying to adjust to the new reality.
This when Munakata Reisi, in his civil clothes, crosses his path with Suoh Mikoto.
It's a quiet night.
They have their usual banter, and end up in a half-empty bar for some drinks.
Once they leave, Munakata brings a cigarette to his lips. Mikoto is quick, and with a playful grin, flicks the tip of the cigarette.
Nothing happens.
For a moment, they both blink confusedly.
Then Mikoto snorts, and Munakata's shoulders relax.
Neither of them has a lighter.
